  • The Costa Brava is a coastal region of Catalonia in northeastern Spain, consisting of the comarquesof Alt Empordà, Baix Empordà and Selva in the province of Girona. Costa Brava stretches from the town of Blanes, 60 km (37 mi) northeast of Barcelona, to the French border. The combination of a very good summer climate, nature and excellent beaches make it one of the most popular places to visit in Spain.

  • Palamós is famous for its landscapes, beaches, the commercial port. The town of Palamós, with about 17,813 inhabitants, has a long maritime tradition and an intense port activity. The arrival of the fishermen to port and the sale of the fish in the auction is a spectacle that can not be missed. On the other hand, the Museum of the Fishing offers a faithful reflection of the history and the life of the people of the sea.
  • The historical center of Palamós occupies a peninsula that enters in the sea and of which stands out the church of Santa Maria, of late Gothic style.

  • The walk allows you to enjoy some coves, and a spectacular view of the sea front of Calella, bordering the coast saving the important unevenness through stairs and tunnels.

  • the beach of Port Bo is a district of the town of Calella de Palafrugell, the most southern of the maritime centers of the term, between the tip of the White and the one of Forcats. It preserves the original layout of the streets, of a large typism, and the white porticoed buildings in front of the sea, which perhaps served as a shelter for fishing gear, with boats barren in the sand as witnesses of a past activity that still Endures.

  • Formerly Llafranc was a town of fishermen, near the capital, Palafrugell. Today it is a very lively residential area especially in summer. Along its seafront, surrounded by trees.
